Late afternoon driving. Chasing the sun. Jordan River was calling. Should be fun. Through twisting coastal roads we travelled. Stopped in Sooke. Spy for otters. Caught an eagle to seal the deal. Cougar spotting in the French quarter. Turned into a Golden Lab wanting to play. Ten minutes on we must journey. To bitter sweet Jordan, and coastal scorn. No trespassing. Pay a dollar. Locals only. High beams all the way home.
